Before you choose an option

Read the detailed inclusions on the booking platform, especially the room and meal arrangements. Check the full price for everyone travelling, the meeting point and cancellation deadline. A basic fare is not an all-inclusive promise. Keep the confirmation offline and use its contact details to reconfirm logistics.

For sightseeing, compare our day-tour guide with overnight tours. For hiking, read the trekking comparison. If you are moving between cities, use the Puno route guide to check direction and accommodation.

Conditions and preparation

Colca journeys involve altitude even when they do not involve a long hike. Read our altitude guidance and allow time to prepare. Weather and road conditions can change the sequence of stops. Leave space in the itinerary after your planned return, rather than relying on a minute-perfect arrival.
